DR. WHO

It feels good to finally have time to write a bunch of stuff on this site. I realize all this might be sensory overload if you have any interest in checking out any or all of these sites I've been posting but what the hell, here's another one!

As many of you know I'm a big DR. Who fan and I'd like to share some of my geekiness with you. Up until about 8th grade I stayed home almost every Friday night to watch Dr. Who. This TV show had a big effect on my young impressionable mind. In the show the Dr. is a being who has lived for hundreds of years and can travel through time. I wanted to know everything just like Dr. Who does. I'm a long ways off but the show did shape my mind and made me reach out for knowledge.

Dr. Who is at best a cheesy British TV show since they had small budgets to film with and I think that's part of the attraction after all these years. I personally own over a hundred video tapes. I should tell you that this is the longest running TV show in history! It did go off the air in the late eighties(I think) and was revived for a pilot movie in the US back in 1996 but only lasted for the pilot. I was pleased to find out that there are plans to bring the series back to television by the BBC in 2005. I'm jealous of Eide for being able view these episodes when they come out. If there are any other Dr. who fans check out the site. If you are just curious, check out the site!
