MARK & CARLA, YOU GUYS ALL RIGHT?

Since I didn't receive your phone call over the weekend, I have to assume that you experianced Hurricane Wilma's rath. Although, I hope that's not the case. Maybe you got into a bottle of Jameson and forgot to call?

Chris! Good to hear from you. I bet you were jealous of our little weather situation a few weeks back. Probably felt like you'd missed out on something...or, not. I'll be sure and give Jon some hell. Are you guys making the trek down this way anytime soon?

I was down briefly this summer but had no time to paruse the wonderful shelves of the greatest record store in North America. As for visiting soon? Well it won't be until next summer. My parental units spend the winter in PHX so that is our destination this christmas. Summer in Hazen so it is possible next summer. When we went thru this summer I only had 5 days, that includes travel from Edmonton, so as I drove by Budget, I gazed longingly but that is all I had time for. I am sure you felt the tremor in the farce.

As for being jealous of your storm. Uh, I think we will see our fair share of the white stuff here in the north pole. Summer lasts from May to august here. sucks really. No real hot days. Oh well, have a good one and hopefully I will be wandering into Budget soon.

Sorry dude,
It was a bottle of scotch Isle of Jura. Any way the storm didn't hit until Monday. Then work. But the important thing is I can still drink a bottle of scotch and function the next day. The storm hit south of us so were fine in that reguard. Talk to you soon.

Mark, that's good to hear. I'm glad that you can still down a bottle of scotch and function at work. It takes lots of "practice" to do that. It's a good thing you're up on your game.

that line, "The good news is that i can drink a bottle of scotch and stil function in the morning" is evidence as to why i adore mark.
