MARK & CARLA, YOU GUYS ALL RIGHT?

Since I didn't receive your phone call over the weekend, I have to assume that you experianced Hurricane Wilma's rath. Although, I hope that's not the case. Maybe you got into a bottle of Jameson and forgot to call?

WHAT'S WITH THIS HELL HOUSE BULLSHIT?

What is it about religion, something that in its bass form was supposed to be about acceptance, forgiveness, love and treating people like you would like to be treated that makes people want to kill, brainwash, scare, threaten, beat, spread lies and disinformation about events and people if they do not have their same views. Seriously people use your brains. If you believe that God created us all, then HE CREATED US ALL no matter what differences exist between you or anyone else genetically or religiously. Did you ever stop to think that maybe God made us all different to test you? To see how you might treat people who are different than you? Stuff like these "Hell Houses" really get to me. It's an outright trick and plays on peoples fears by intimidation. Enough ranting here's a link if you want to learn about them.

THIS IS A REAL MOVIE?!

I can't believe it! Man, who approves this crap? A reviewer stated that "The armored suit was great, the acting wasn't." Crappy movies like this give me hope that one day I might be able to get a movie made.

RFTC

Rocket From The Crypt are calling it quits. Shit. They have been a fav for many years.

Circa Now! was one of my favorite albums way back when.

Of course Paint as a fragrance was excellent as well.

Thank you James T. Boyd for introducing folks in Minot to RFTC. I never got to see them live though, so I'm jealous of those that have. I think they had a great attitude towards fans, hell if you tattooed a rocket on yourself you got into a show for free. I wonder how many rocket tattoos are out there? I guess if you live in or around San Diego you can see their last show as stated in the article I linked to at the top on Halloween! I bet that'll be fun.

You can call me lazy if you want

Today is one of those days that I feel like taking time out for myself; Move at a slower pace, drink coffee all day, hang out in pajamas. It even sounds good to write about it! I bought a new vacuum cleaner the other day and I plan to do a little vacuuming today, maybe some dusting. If I get the chance I'm going to work on a story that my friend Brian and I are writing. Tomorrow will be a different story. Back to work and after that cleaning up all of the broken branches from the storm the other day. Playing with a chainsaw is not like work at all it's kinda fun. Time to pour another cup of coffee!

Thank you Todd for the assist! I like the new template.

SNOW DAY

This is what people in Minot awoke to Wednesday morning. It was chaos and looked like a war zone. Power lines were down because of ice that had accumulated on them or because trees fell on them; Roads were closed for the same reasons. Much of the city was without power. Man I love winter. Much of the day was spent gathering up large branches that broke off of trees and driving around to make sure some friends & relatives got to where they were going.

This branch broke off a tree and hit my house at 4:00am. It was a pretty loud boom and freaked the hell out of me. It also broke my gutter. Posted by Picasa
